Self-disclosure is defined as a person's ability to disclose information

about oneself to others. HIV-AIDS cases are growing very fast around the world,

as seen from the large number of people who have been infected by the virus.

This study aims to obtain a detailed description of self-disclosure with the

dimensions of: 1) Intention, 2) Frequency, 3) Positive-Negative, 4) Depth, and

5) Honesty. The method used is a qualitative method with a descriptive research

type. Data collection techniques used were in-depth interviews, observation,

and documentation studies. Informant selection techniques in this study using

purposive. Checking the validity of the data uses credibility (persistence,

triangulation, and reference materials), dependability, and confirmability tests.

The results showed that out of 4 informants, only 1 informant had fully disclosed

himself to the social environment, namely family, social friends, and the

community. One of the informant factors revealed their social environment

because the informant was an activist working in the field of HIV, so the

informant felt he had a responsibility to disclose himself to his social

environment. Meanwhile, 3 other informants revealed themselves only to peers

and support groups. This was because the three informants were worried that

if they revealed themselves they would be discriminated against by their social

environment. Based on these results, a program was proposed which was

named Training on skills for PLHIV in expressing themselves to their social

environment in Kuldesak, Depok City. The aim of this program is to provide

knowledge and skills to PLHIV, so that PLHIV can convey information about

their positive status to the social environment. Meanwhile, recommendations

related to further research to support future research, namely in order to be

able to dig deeper about disclosing the status of PLHIV to the social

environment by using dimensions other than what the researchers have done.
Yulfa Nurmasari, Arini Dwi Deswanti, Tuti Kartika

https://prosiding.poltekesos.ac.id/index.php/ppsik/article/view/326

Self-stigma is a condition in which a person views themself negatively and believes that the stigma given by society to the person is the truth. This study aims to determine the description of Self-Stigma experienced by PLWHA at Female Plus Bandung NGO. This study used a qualitative approach with a qualitative descriptive model, with data collection techniques through in-depth interviews, observation and documentation studies. The number of informants in this research was three people with the determination of data sources using purposive sampling technique. This study describes the feeling of fear of self-condition, the bad stamp of society that is approved, and the process of self-stigma. Where the stages or processes of self-stigma include awareness, approval, application and impact. This study shows various forms of stigma received or experienced by informants such as negative views, bad labels, exclusion, and discrimination. These experiences bring impact and changes in the lives of PLWHA not only psychologically and mentally but also socially. The results showed that the three informants had accepted their condition and did not stigmatize themselves. However, the experiences of stigmatization that they gained have an impact on their lives until now such as filtering friendships, withdrawing, and unwillingness to have a romantic relationship. This shows a lack of self-confidence in PLWHA, so the researcher proposes a capacity building program to increase a positive view of PLWHA and how or the efforts that can be made by PLWHA in dealing with all forms of stigma from the community through educational groups, so as to minimize the occurrence of Self-Stigma in People with HIV/AIDS.
Hanyra’idah Widya Mutiara, Meiti Subardhini , Sulistyary Ardiyantika

Social solidarity is a situation in which a relationship between individuals and or groups based on moral feelings and shared beliefs is strengthened by shared emotional experiences. This study aims to examine the social solidarity of adolescent members of the BARCAF community in Pasirkaliki Village, North Cimahi District, Cimahi City. The aspects studied include feeling, sharing, and needing each other. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach. The informants in this study were 3 youth members of the BARCAF community aged 15-24 years. The data collection technique used was semi-structured in-depth interviews by checking the validity of the data using data triangulation. The results of the study show that as a whole the members of the BARCAF community have social solidarity behavior in accordance with the aspects of feeling, sharing, and needing each other. Although overall the social solidarity relations of members of the BARCAF community are quite good, on the sentimental aspect there are still many members who do not have the same feeling towards fellow community members due to the lack of awareness of each member to get to know each other better. So the researchers recommend a program to improve social life skills to improve social skills among members as an effort to increase social solidarity among members of the BARCAF community.
Lutfi Arifiandi Azhar, Sakroni Sakroni, Ujang Muhyidin

Vocational training is a service system available in Social Welfare Institutions (LKS) and Centers that play an important role in increasing individual capabilities such as aspects of independence, interests and talents, and skills. For victims of drug abuse. On the other hand, vocational training is a means for victims of drug abuse who are in LKS and Sentra to learn about social skills in society. This research uses a qualitative approach with interview methods and purposive sampling techniques. The purpose of this research is to find out the vocational training program on aspects of independence, interests and talents, and skills of victims of drug abuse who are in Sentra Satria Baturraden. Vocational training for victims of drug abuse showed good results. The aspects of independence, interests and talents, and skills in victims of drug abuse are well honed. However, the interest and talent aspects still need to be maximized, so that victims of drug abuse can recover and live their lives as before. Therefore, the program in the proposed research to maximize the interests and talents of beneficiaries is Development of Skills Program for Interest and Talent Aspects through Service Partners of Sentra Satria Baturraden with the aim of increasing business and employment opportunities and providing reinforcement for self-restraint or abstinence with assertive behavior and maximizing interests and talents.
Hanismara Imandani Tsaqif, Aam Muharam, Ella Nurlela

Poverty is a global problem that continues to be a challenge,

including in Kabupaten Bandung, which has the largest number of poor people,

at 258.61 thousand. Tenjolaya Village in Pasirjambu Sub-district is one of the

areas with a high poverty rate. The Family Hope Program (PKH) aims to help

poor families meet their basic needs. This research focuses on the impact of PKH

on meeting the needs of Beneficiary Families (KPM) in Tenjolaya Village, using

qualitative research methods with a descriptive approach. The results show

that PKH has a positive impact in fulfilling primary (food, shelter, education,

health), secondary (household furniture, electronic devices), and tertiary

(vehicles, communication devices) needs.
Networking is an important activity to support the success of a business owned by a home industry. In this case, the network is built between home industries owned by poor families with raw material suppliers and shop owners, in developing work networks, various things need to be considered: (1) purpose, (2) structure, (3) style and (4) value. This research uses a qualitative descriptive method. Sampling thechnique sources uses purposive sampling techniques to determine seven informants consisting of three poor families home industry, two raw material suppliers and two shop owners. Data collection techniques used in depth interviews and documentation studies. The results showed that: (1) the achievement of goals to be achieved together, (2) the achievement of the division of roles and the flow of information well and easily, (3) the achievement of a work culture agreed upon and maintained by all parties in the network, and (4) the achievement of benefits felt by the home industry and the partners in the network. However, in the implementation of the poor family home industry network, there are obstacles in the aspect of purpose that need to be optimized, namely: (1) not maximizing the expansion of the network yet by home industry actors and (2) the lack of ability to promote home industry products. These two obstacles can have an impact on the income generated by home industry owners and networked partners. Therefore, it is necessary to maximize the expansion of the network of poor family home industry owners and increase the ability to promote processed home industry products through the "Home Industry Network Development" program with three activities carried out, namely hearings, group formation and culinary markets involving the Village Government and Local Government in order to create an expansion of the network built so as to increase the income of poor family home industry families and partners involved in the network.
Alma Fachrunisa, Aribowo Aribowo, Teta Riasih
