Abstract
The development of the internet influenced the spread of online game industry. Online game users are generally adolescent who are still in school age. Addiction to online games can be addictive continuously. Online game addiction is also able to influence adolescent perceptions of violence. For this reason, this research wants to see the relationship between online game addiction and adolescent perceptions of violence. The research method used in this research is a quantitative approach with survey data methods in SMKN 15 Bandung. From
127 student research respondents, it was revealed that 11 percent of respondents included in the online game addiction category. Meanwhile, 89 percent of other students did not fall into the online game addiction category. In addition, this research also shows that 77,95 percent of respondents are not sensitive to violence. Meanwhile, 22.05 percent of other students are sensitive to violence. Based on the results of the study, the relationship between online game addiction and adolescent perceptions of violence, it was found that there was no significant relationship between online game addiction and adolescent perceptions of violence with r count 0.122.
