Strategi Bertahan Hidup Warga Desa Pesisir Pada Masa Pandemi Covid-19: Studi Kasus di Desa Pangumbahan dan Desa Ujunggenteng Kecamatan Ciracap, Kabupaten Sukabumi Hubungan

Abstract

This study describes about coastal people survival strategies in the pandemic Covid-19 in Pangumbahan Village and Ujunggenteng Village District Ciracap, Sukabumi, Province West Java. This study is analyzed by the sustainable livelihoods framework. The time of the research was held from August until December 2020. This study uses qualitative approach. The type of the research is descriptive study. Data from this study uses primary and secondary data. This study uses purposive sampling method to choose informants. There are three key informants and two supportive informants in this study. Result of this study: survival strategies that have been done by coastal people in Pangumbahan dan Ujunggenteng Village during pandemic Covid-19 are to maximize three community capitals/assets, that is: environmental capital, human capital, and technology capital. By doing that, they can fulfil their daily needs during the pandemic time, even though their income has reduce drastically due to the closure of tourist sites during pandemic Covid-19
