Abstract
Social network is a specific type of network constructed by social
relationship. Based on social relationship purpose, social network is classified
into interest, sentiment, and power social network. This research aimed to
describe social network of ceramic craft man based on interest, sentiment, and
power. Thisstudy used quantitative approach and descriptive method by giving
questionnaires to respondents and doing document study. Respondents
amounted to 44 people obtained by employing simple random sampling.
Validity test was content validity. Reliability test was Alpha Cronbach with
computer program. Data analysis technique was descriptive statistic. Research
results indicated that interest social network involving relationship,
cooperation, interaction, communication, reciprocal relationship included in
strong category. Sentiment social network covering relationship, cooperation,
interaction, communication, reciprocal relationship included in highly strong
category. Power social network comprising relationship, cooperation,
interaction, communication, reciprocal relationship included in less strong
category. However, power social network aspect had lowest scores related to
reciprocal relationship between respondents with state government and this
included in less strong category. Accordingly, power social network needs to be
strengthened.
