Abstract
Resilience refers to the capacity of social entities to communities to
cope with and adapt to environmental and social threats. This research is
important to research because landslides in Donorati Village occur periodically
every year so that resilience is needed from the community in facing this
disaster. This study aims to obtain an empirical description of: 1)
characteristics of respondents, 2) coping capacities, 3) adaptive capacities and
4) transformative capacities. The method used is quantitative research with a
descriptive survey. The sampling technique used was simple random sampling
technique. The data collection techniques used were: 1) questionnaire, 2)
documentation study, and 3) observation. The validity test used face validity
and the reliability test used Cronbach's alpha (α). The results of the study using
descriptive statistical data analysis. The results of the study of 83 household
heads showed that the resilience of landslide victims was in the high category
with a real score of 6,433 (81,59%) from a maximum score of 7,885. The
dominant aspect that is a problem and has the lowest real score of the three
aspects is transformative capacities. Based on the results of the study, the
researcher proposed the Donorati Tangguh Masyarakat Aman Sejahtera
(DOTA MAJA) Programme. This programme uses the Community Work method
and Education, Implementation, and Capacity Building techniques
