Abstract
This study aims to determine the results of the evaluation of the Rumah Pelangi community program in improving the education of street children at Leuwipanjang Terminal with the CIPP (context, input, process, product) model developed by Stufflebeam in 1967. This research uses a qualitative approach and descriptive method. Data collection techniques in the study through interviews, observations, and documentation studies. The subjects in this research are the administrators, parents, and also children assisted by the Rumah Pelangi community. The results showed that: 1) Context evaluation, analysis of needs to be met in terms of collecting and analyzing to meet the needs of children in terms of insight and become provisions to face life on the streets. 2) Input evaluation, the community's ability to provide and plan learning resources is quite good. 3) Process evaluation, the implementation of the program still needs to improve organizational management so that the administrators can perform their roles in accordance with their main duties and functions properly. 4) Product evaluation. The program to improve street children's education can be continued, of course, the administration and volunteers of the Rumah Pelangi community need to pay more attention to strengthening the program by carrying out more structured planning and supporting volunteers as educators. On the other hand, it is possible to fight for the community's legality in order to meet its external demands.
